Dr. Amiya Prasad, renowned cosmetic surgeon, is the Medical Director of Le Visage Cosmetic Surgery with offices in Manhattan’s Upper Eastside and Garden City, Long Island. Dr. Prasad has performed thousands of surgeries and specializes in Cosmetic Surgery of the eyes and face, liposuction and hair restoration.

A graduate of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Prasad received his specialty training by top plastic surgeons associated with The University of Texas in Houston and Galveston as well as The Baylor College of Medicine. Dr Prasad is widely renowned for his innovative approach to eyelid rejuvenation and facelifting surgery. His work is highly regarded for its natural results. He has developed techniques that are well suited to modern lifestyles because he balances artistry and an individualized design with minimal risk, maximal gain and quick recovery.

He is a fellow of the prestigious American Society of Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Prasad is also a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and holds board certification in Ocular Surgery as well as by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He has written many well-received articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Prasad has been practicing in New York for more than 10 years. He teaches future cosmetic surgeons at several institutions including SUNY Downstate Medical School where he is an Assistant Professor, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Winthrop University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. He was formerly Chief of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York before leaving to work full-time in his thriving practice. He is Chief of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Winthrop University Hospital. He lectures and teaches colleagues regularly about cosmetic surgery.
